Learn Who We Are

  • Dr. F.
    Matt Russell
    Chiropractor, Clinic Director

Dr. Russell is a devoted health and wellness educator, providing patients with the information and tools needed to manage and assist their own health maintenance and recovery. His practice focus is primarily family oriented, however, over the course of his 30+ year career he has been blessed with broad opportunities to provide performance promoting and recovery care for youth, collegiate, professional, and Olympic level athletes. In particular, his work with Track and Field athletes triggered a pursuit of extended training in the assessment and management of upper and lower extremity bio-mechanics, and the adjustment and treatment of related conditions. In addition, he is certified in Golf injury prevention, and completed advanced certification in Kinesio taping techniques. He takes great satisfaction in helping patients solve difficult and persistent conditions by addressing why they exist rather than simply where they are felt.

Dr. Russell has been a resident of Olympia/Tumwater since 1974. He is an honors graduate of Olympia High School in 1982, a Cum Laude graduate of Central Washington University with a Bachelors degree in Allied Health Sciences, and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Western States Chiropractic College, Portland, OR, 1989. He leads a pro-active, wellness-focused lifestyle, and encourages his patients to not only work in safe and effective ways to resolve their current health issues but to prevent future losses of health through lifestyle improvements and wellness habits.

In his free time he is an avid sportsman and a restorer of antique and classic vehicles. He and his wife Susie have two adult children and one Munchkin cat.

  • Dr.
    Jaron Banks

Dr Banks enjoys an active lifestyle with his wife and four small children. When out of the office, you will find him hiking, running, at CrossFit, and involved with youth and administration in his church. After graduating with honors from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, he returned to his native Washington and made the Olympia area his home. He has a Masters degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation. So, along with helping you promote better health and vitality, he can help you recover more quickly from sports and fitness injuries. Dr. Banks is an avid outdoorsman and fitness advocate who knows the rigors of event training and conditioning maintenance. He has worked with a wide variety of collegiate athletes, CrossFit, distance runners, U.S.A. Youth Track and Field, as well as moms and dads and aspiring youth athletes.

Along with precise adjustments to the spine and extremities, Dr. Banks has training in techniques like Active Release Technique (A.R.T.), Graston, and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (F.A.K.T.R) to help his patients bounce back from injuries and setbacks. His passion is helping people like you enjoy their sport and recreation to the fullest, without being held back by new, old or recurrent injuries.
